Our opening hours are usually 9.00 am till 4.00pm but it is always best to check google or our facebook page. We are open all year except for over Christmas and New Year.

The minimum hire period is during our daytime opening hours and must be collected from the shop. For Delivery of hires the minimum charge is 3 days hire.
The user maybe eligible for Vat Relief if they suffer from a long term illness or disability. You will be asked to sign the Declaration form on the Hire form and then no vat will be charged.
It is the person who is signing the forms responsibility to ensure that the person is eligible,
We have mobility scooters and wheelchairs that can carry up to 31/32 stone. Our walkers are user rated up to 18 stone.
It is strongly advised to book your hire equipment for your holiday to ensure availability. Day bookings can also be made in advance. ( A reservation fee is chargeable for prebooked day hires.)
Yes you will need photo ID.
This does not have to be he Hirers ID but it can be soneone who is with the Hirer, We do need to see the person who has the ID.
When you hire a scooter we will give you full instructions on how to use it. Providing you follow these instructions and use the scooter sensibly it should not get damaged. You pay a security bond against any damage, to pay towards the repair, and this will not be refunded if any damage is caused to the equipment by the hirer or third party, If the Equipment is severly damaged we reserve the right to charge you the full amount for the repair
You are responsible for the security of all hired equipment. You will be charged for any replacements.
No, we do not hire out 8 mph scooters.
We can loan an extension lead free of charge. Please ask the driver when he delivers your hire.
We supply a storage cover, tiller cover, bag, lock and charger with all scooters except car portable scooters. The car portable scooters come with a charger and a tiller head cover. If a storage cover is required with a car portable please ask.
We will do our best to try to deliver at a time close to when you require but due to other bookings and traffic, especially in the main season, we apologise but exact times are not available.
We take bookings a year in advance. Pre booking is strongly recommended . If not pre booked we can not guarantee availability.
Day Hires can be booked in advance with a reservation fee, which will be taken off the cost of the hire, but only refunded if more than 24 hours notice is given of cancellation. Or you can call the day before for a day hire and if we have some available we can reserve one for you.
Yes, if prebooked and you have notified us that you wish to collect from the shop this can be arranged during opening hours.
Sorry we can not deliver day hires.
We kindly ask that any cancellations are made with as much notice as possible to release the booking. Pre booked Day hires incur a reservation fee and this is non refundable unless 24 hours or more notice is given.
For longer hire periods we reserve the right to charge a £20 admin fee if less than a weeks notice is given.
We accept most major credit and debit cards and cash. Card payment is only available either in store or over the phone prior to the delivery. For collection from the shop, card or cash is accepted. For deliveries, card payment has to be made in advance over the phone or cash can be given to the driver on handover.
Please book for the known period. If you need to extend please call us. If available we can extend, however please bear in mind that other people may have prebooked for that period.
No refunds for early returns.
When the hire is returned it will be inspected for any damage. If no damage has been caused , cash deposits will be refunded immediately. For bonds paid by card, if the hire is being returned to the shop the bond will be refunded instore. For collections on site, if paid by card, you would need to phone the Skegness branch two hours after collection to give your card details for a refund to be processed. Due to Security and safety reasons we do not store your card details anywhere so would need to take these again.
Parking is available in the public cricket club car park next door to us.
If arriving by taxi the taxi rank is directly in front of the shop, ( Please Note: this is for Taxis only )
If arriving by Train we are across the road opposite the train station.
