I rang to hire at mobility scooter for myself and had a very pleasant chat with the lady and she was very helpful with asking what type of scooter she made me happy that she got the right scooter size for me and i was very happy with everything she told me, she said someone would be around in the morning before 12pm and explained how the scooter works as mine is very different at home… it comes with a cover for scooter and over the handles incase it rains and a lock and chain to lock it up which is piece of mind for myself, want to say thankyou to the lovely lady as it gave me freedom to get around due to my very poor mobility and its really cheered me up …i would recommend anyone to hire a scooter from people first in lumley square in skeg opposite the train station ….i also cleaned the scooter and charged it fully for the next person ….thankyou against and see you soon
I’ve used first mobility for the past 3 years. The assistance and information I received every time I call into the shop or over the phone is Absolutely 1st class. Fantastic customer service. Thank you so much Karen, for making sure I have the correct scooter. She is so helpful. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Excellent service. She usually remembers me, when I remind her, when I call from my home in Derby, which is also amazing.
I called a few days ago to book a mobility scooter for our daytrip to skeggie yesterday. From start to finsh everything went smoothly. The lady was really professional and friendly. The mobility scooter was great and just what I needed as I’m unable to walk far while waiting for a double hip replacement. No problems with getting the deposit back. I was petrified just in case anyone bumped into me so I did drive it around 1mph 🤣

Big thank you to Karen at People First Mobility. We walked by on Sat 10th June and ended up buying a second hand electric wheelchair. It’s in great condition and came with a 30day warranty, she even offered to deliver it to North Notts for £50!! Truly lovely lady and really appreciated the time you spent with us. Went to people first looking for a pair of shoes that would be suitable for my very swollen feet. Karen was able to find just the pair that I needed for driving. So pleased to be able to find someone that treated me with such care and consideration

Over the last couple of weeks they have collected my mobility scooter, sorted out it’s problems, given it a thorough service and delivered it home to me in a spic and span condition.
I am sincerely impressed with all the work they have done for me and would highly recommend People First to anyone who needs help with this type of essential transport.
Without my scooter l am housebound. Now, with their help, l have my freedom back!!

This is a great place to go for all your mobility needs. We dealt with Karen there & she was exceedingly knowledgeable & helpful. We were looking at buying a mobility scooter to use when getting around town. The shop has a good stock to look at, as well as loads of other very useful aids for disabled people.
